About This File

So this is a game i had for some time. Is a Japanese game that kelp my interest for a long time. Your a young warrior or footman who goes out on adventures or at least your about to start your adventures. i haven't gone back to the beginning after my translator failed me the first time. The is time of day, lots of different monsters to fight, quest appear one b one with some side quest, loot comes from Monsters and around places if you explore enough. I don't want to spoil the game to much as i find it t be a great game with a nice wetting and desperation system. like an upgrade from the previous game. Hope some will find it as good as i did.

The creator of it from what i know, is the same one that made "Might, Magic and Wetting". Requires the same RTP as it.

Actually, if you want, I can at least share the autotranslated game files with you so you can further advance that fix. Unfortunately, as I said above, half the common event names exceed the character count limit post-translation, which means even if all you want to do is look at the events, you'll have to change their names before doing literally anything else in the common events tab of the database. And since I didn't really feel like doing that, I haven't really touched them. But I definitely want that bug fixed, so if you wanna take a crack at it, I'm not gonna stop you. I can share it with you using either Dropbox or Google Drive, take your pick and I'll send you a link in DMs.

Though, that being said, if you know which events I'd need to be screwing with to fix it myself, that'd make it a lot easier for me to take some shots at fixing it myself. There's like 750 common events, so I dunno where to even start, but if you know where to point me, I can probably take it from there.

Halle-fucking-lujah, i actually got it. The problem is in common event 171, there seem to be a check for variable 641==1, 641==2 and 641==3 for each character. Trial version doesn't have this. Removed it and voila, everything seems to be fine again. Also trial version has 6 additional lines, var 801 + var 815 & var 1026 == var 1040, var 802 + var 815 & var 1027 == var 1040 and var 803 + var 815 & var 1028 == var 1040, two for each character. No idea what they are for and how they affect other events, but at the very least they do not affect the bug itself, might as well add them back again just in case. I also noticed that the CGs displayed via event while walking do not match 1 to 1 to what is shown if you use the skill from the menu, but i just can't be bothered to look into this right not, "it just works". I'll attach the screenshots for clarity, 2 save files i tested this on and edited (not translated) CommonEvents.rxdata, but my editor really doesn't like Japanese and all the text in screenshots is gibberish, hope its clear enough.

Okay so I implemented the fix, and though I haven't confirmed whether it works or not yet, I do know that once I did, the yet untranslated text (which pops up occasionally in-game because the autotranslator I used doesn't translate certain things to be on the safe side) turned to blank squares, as opposed to Japanese text...

Thankfully, restoring the game.ini file back to its original state post-translation seems to have fixed that problem.

 

Unrelated to that, anyone know what I'm supposed to be doing to progress the game here? I've done a couple sidequests in Castle Town, been to the forest area and 100%'d it, my one starting party member is now level eleven (almost level twelve even), and I'm officially out of ideas. All the other areas I have access to have mobs that are capable of one-turn killing me, including, but not limited to: the route to the Harbor, the route to the mines, and the swampy area on the way to the Water Temple thing.

As far as i remember all the quests in the starting town are given by the "brother" in the shop, lady at the inn you're staying and some lady-guard up north in the town. Others are specific to some areas, like the quest to go to mines is given by some dude in the village just above said mines. The order of quests is something along the lines of Forest -> Water Temple ->Village to the north of the Mines -> Mines -> Harbor -> Swampy area. There is also a village to the far North-West of the map, but i don't remember when specifically you're supposed to go there, i wanna say before the swamp, but i don't know for sure

K. By the way, I just verified that whatever fix you just made for the accident system thing resulted in no change for me. What CGs are supposed to be displayed? Can you screenshot the game cycling through them?

That doesn't happen to me, and I applied your fix... I didn't add in those extraneous variables to each character, but IDK if that matters.

Also, what CGs play if the character is wearing a diaper?

And speaking of diapers, how do I get the lady who rents them out to you in the Castle Town to let you rent them out when the party has all three main members? Mine won't let me do it...

Oof, i didn't really finish the game myself, so i don't know about the first one. Pretty sure CGs are not cycled for diapers, as in there are no patches, they are either full or not. Searching through pictures this seems to be the case. AFAIK renting is available for main character if the party is disbanded. This is done at the inn, there's a piece of paper near the inn lady with a blue orb floating around it. This disbands/assembles the party.

Looking through the events, it seems that it is possible for all of the party members to wear diapers, though i don't know what should be done to allow for this

I know you can only can wear a diaper when your alone. Think the main character is shy about letting the others see. Also onl the main character can get fresh underwear from what my translator calls him "big brother" last i checked. The one you meet at the beginning. only the main can change not the other two. as far as i know. I know abit more just ask and i will see. 

As for quest the lady at the inn gives you a clue who to go to next. 

Also after each Quest the shops or at least weapon shop upgrade by one for what they sell that way you wont be at a disadvantage. or if your like me, grind away and explore. you will find something if you look hard enough

Actually, there's code in the game for the diaper rental shop to rent them out to all three heroines. The way it's supposed to work is, you talk to her (the middle option) with all three party members, and it flips a switch which allows you to rent out diapers to all three of them. But in what I believe to be a glitch, that route is closed off if you've already rented a diaper alone more than once (there's a variable that keeps track of it). So what I did to fix it is put a conditional branch in the sleeping common event that if the switch that lets you diaper them all is OFF, it'll reset the variable tracking how many times you've diapered them up to zero. Then you can talk to the rental lady, the switch flips, and then the variables that track diaper usage no longer reset and you can now diaper all three.

 

Speaking of which, so... I'm still playing through it myself and I've noticed some things with the autotranslations. First off, haven't had a single game crash (the program I used warned of that on github, so I was making sure it wouldn't happen before uploading) since starting to play. Dunno if that'll change for sure, but it seems highly unlikely at this point. Second thing I noticed: lines with character names in them are left untranslated. Kinda pisses me off that this happens because the final line for every accident sequence has the character's name in it, but more on that later. Third thing I've noticed, somewhat unrelated to the translation itself: one of the heroines' default skills makes them go in their pants/diaper before having an accident. Interestingly enough, when I tried this with a diaper on, I realized that there IS somehow a CG sequence of the diaper getting wetter when you do it this way. No idea why or how, considering there's no actual image files which reflect half the images in the sequence, but I'm certainly not complaining.

Finally, though the translation has been pretty rough, with a lot of translated lines going past the message box and being partially unreadable, among other things, it's essentially bug free as far as game-breaking shit goes, so I think I'll be uploading my copy tonight. I plan to do recurring grammar/line spacing/bugfix updates on my copy, but anyone who wants to help me with figuring out the various common events systems in the game is more than welcome to lend a hand. In particular, the pantied accident wetting sequence CG bug is still (somehow) unfixed despite me applying the fix method specified earlier, and I want to figure out the accident system so that I can translate that final line of each character's accident message sequence for personal satisfaction. In addition, I also need help editing the common event names to get them all down to forty characters, just to make future potential bugfix edits more streamlined (if you've selected one with over the character count limit, it won't let you select any others).

Huh, that's very strange that fix didn't work, i specifically rechecked it with a fresh download, just replaced the CommonEvents file, grabbed the save and that's it. Maybe something related to the translation breaks the event sequence at some point? I did also check it by translating the game with the latest build of the Translator++ so yeah, not really sure.

It doesn't translate the names of the common events though, maybe that the thing.

I didn't use that one, but now that I get a look at it, I'm thinking I should give it a try. I haven't changed much since using the one I did, so it shouldn't be too hard to reapply my changes.

EDIT: Never mind, looks like the Translator++ is no longer supported and doesn't work anymore, so...

One warning though, there is an error related to it translating the symbols you select if you want to change the character's name at the start of the game. Its in Scripts -> Window_NameInput. I have a question. Is there a way to switch translation services from Google to ATLAS? Because I do have the latter, so...

New Project -> Select an Application -> There's a small box under the dump to select all -> Batch Translation (7th button from the left on the top row) -> Select translation engine and output column -> Export Project (5th button from the left on the top row).

New project button application select doesn't work for me. I select the application and nothing happens. ?

On top of that, it tells me I'm not connected to any of the translators. ://////

Hey if you two want more work i dug more and found more of this creator's work. i mean they arn't new games but one that did come after Might Magic and wetting looked like a rpg visual novel like game. not sure what to call it. If anyone wanna check the site i will post the link. Again not sure if the creator is ok with me digging like this. Seems open for the public. Sorry nervous chills again

So I checked out the page, and half the entries are just old to latest versions of Might, Magic and Wetting, which is already on this site, Most of the rest are old RPG Maker 2000 title versions (and I have no interest in messing with stuff that old tbh, it's too old for most translation tools used on RPG Maker games to work on it and I don't have the editor for it either), and the only one which doesn't fit into either of these molds uses the same ugly ass graphics as Might, Magic and Wetting does for the wetting/diaper stuff. The primary reason I'm interested in this thread's title is because of the major graphical improvements, so...

So I got the translation via Translator++ figured out, took me an extra day to execute tho because I hit the Google Translate API daily character count limit and got banned. Been playing through to look for any stuff I missed due to freaking out when I got temp banned from translating further initially, among other things. I haven't found a whole lot of them yet (though somehow most of them were tied to one map lol), and so far things have been running smoothly overall.

I do have a question though. What do I do and where do I go after beating the dungeon at the end of the marsh area? Because I'm totally unsure how to progress further at this point, and I kinda wanna beat the game before uploading it because I know when I DO upload it, I'm gonna get a bunch of dipshit comments like this one I'm sending here asking what to do next after doing thing X.
