About This File

Another countdown to Christmas folder!

I've recently stumbled upon a rather large source of new content and look forward to uploading them all in this new format over the coming weeks!

you are becoming my favorite uploader now that you have embraced the power of the zip file

Glad to hear that!

Its a nice format but the only thing that sucks is i cant upload files that are near the limit for size or they fail, i cant touch anything on my computer or it fails, and i cant let my computer go to sleep or it fails and the files of even just 5gb take a long long time

you could try setting winrar compression to fastest or store

that should speed things up

what are the specs of your computer (ram, cpu model.etc) i might be able to help you optimize the process
you could also split huge libraries into 3-4 zip files if necessary (the important part is not needing to take 2 months to download the whole collection)

if its an internet issue, try using an upload accelerator

I’m not talking about putting them into those files I’m talking about uploading to this site! I have no problem at all getting them into Zip folders and is fairly simple but the uploading here doesn’t even work every time and so when I waste 2 hours on one 5 GB zip file it’s just not worth it. I’ve tried different browsers but without fail eventually 2 or 3 of the Zip files with get to 100% on the upload bar but then fail instead of completing

what type of internet connection do you have and what country are you in? i might be able to give you some settings to give you a more direct connection to the site depending on what country you are in (it works for me here in Australia when im uploading to google drive)

you can reduce the file size further by selecting "best" compression in winrar (should save you a few hundred MB)

I have 60Mbps, and I’m in the United States, it’s not a problem with my internet speed though that’s the thing. If this was an isolated problem I could problem solve. This is me trying to upload Zip folders here using this uploader and randomly some of the folders will upload and others will fail, with all varying amounts of videos, size, order etc. There’s no pattern or problem for me to fix, it simply won’t let me upload certain files.

Whereas when I upload individuals I’ll get maybe one disconnect out of 50 and it’s better because it can save at least as many files as I’ve downloaded so far if I have to leave, on the zip if I have to leave and the folder isn’t done then I have to start all over again
