About This File

Hello! I've been working on a short demo for a game, if I had to guess there's probably an hour or so of gameplay. There's much more I'd like to add if there's enough interest, otherwise I hope some people enjoy it as it is! Fair warning, the difficulty is very high.

Please download empire demo.exe if you don't have the RPG Maker VX Ace RTP.

Follow me on pixiv and tumblr for updates and art!

What's New in Version 1.1.2   See changelog

Released

- Continuation of the main story! Fail a mission to progress the plot. That should happen naturally, right?

- Failing a mission will also unlock a new skill tree for Xerenia.

- Items are usable in battle now. Make sure you get repulsion fields in the Armory if you're having trouble.

- The Huggies Titan has been added to the game.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and support. As always, let me know if you encounter bugs.

Okay, I've now determined that losing ANY mission makes my game get stuck with both Astrid and Xerenia at negative discipline. It seems the game is first applying set discipline to 0 penalty and then applying an additional -1 discipline penalty. (Presumably because losing the mission causes Millia to soil her undergarments.)

However, this means that the discipline after losing a mission will always be set to at least -1.  Unless there is a way to reduce negative discipline, I'm pretty sure that means that means forgoing Astrid's skills (which I never used anyway) and Xerenia's Blitz! skills is mandatory.

I guess I'll just progress under the assumption that I don't need to care about skills.

Also, does losing a mission reset the exp to next FRMT rank? Or is it because Xerenia changed class to ruler?

You can definitely get to the next part without the higher level skills, but like I said, I'm going to fix this when I get a chance.

And yeah, changing to Ruler class resets the EXP, but I can't imagine you would have earned that much with Xerenia.

Little did you know...

(I've actually save scummed my way into her being FRMT 4.)

I should disable saving during the FRMT test =_= The story assumes she's at FRMT 3.

To be honest, I was just sick of having to go to the nurse every time because I'm lazy.

(And yet you bothered farming out FRMT 4?)

Yeah, think of it as paying the work forward. XD

I finally got around to playing the next part of the story.

Two words: Freakin' epic. I loved that final cut scene.

...though I will admit I still miss the characters commenting on their current state when just walking around outside of scripted events.

Bugs I've noticed. Don't open if you haven't played the latest update. (1.1.2)

Sometimes when Archon-5 is talking, the box labels her as 'Cautherin'. This happens during the cut scene when Archon-5 wets herself at night and if you talk to her in the main lab before changing Cautherin the next morning. The dialogue is fine, it's just the box label.

When Archon-5 finds out she has a synaptic anomaly (brain error) she wets herself a little no matter whether its the first, second, or xth time. It's not necessary to fix this, I just found it funny.

I find it hilarious that Leo is actually rated on the FRMT scale.

I think I can fix these things myself... maybe. I'm working on it. >.< This thing is a heck of a lot bigger than the flight simulator I built in Alice once upon a time.

... Nvm. The Lite version is too limiting, you can't edit/create scripts and only can make 10 events.

I got to a part where Leo has to change Cauthrein's diapers, but when I try to grab a Titan it says I already have one and it won't let me change her because I bought one and never used it when I was in Hippolyta Station, any solution?

I believe I fixed this in the latest version (it should take your Titans before you get to go into the keep). If you have a save from before you go in, you could try restarting from there. Otherwise, if you already have one in your inventory in your save file, you might be stuck there barring some kind of hacks.

ETA on the next update? :)

I'm not sure x.x My computer exploded recently and I've been trying to get it replaced, and I've generally a bit busy with other stuff. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to it soon, though.

Take all the time you need, your stuff's always worth the wait!

If you need a new motherboard anyway, you should probably go AMD this time around. Ryzen is blowing the pants off Intel at every price-point right now. The mATX board selection is a little bare atm (as I found out recently when I finally decided to jump ship), but if you've got a mid-tower or SFF case, you're golden.

Of course, Coffee Lake might change things in Q1 2018 (until Zen 2 drops, at least), but that's still a ways off... :P

The game crashed the first time it tried to load Cauthrein's fight with the training hologram, but worked fine the second time. Did anyone else have that happen, or do you think it was on my end?

If you don't mind I want to make a suggestion. When Oveldia has the meetings I think there should be a random chance that a woman is there and she either has an accident first, mocks Oveldia for her incontinence, or innocuously asks if she had an accident.

SPOILER

Hi! I have gotten further in the game then ever. I just have a question on how Xerenia's "Surrender" ability is supposed to work. Even at full health and full SP I can't use it against the pirates. Considering mutated animals don't care about Xerenia crying and sucking her thumb in a loaded diaper I can't help but believe that you want me to find the pirates from the beginning and use it to make them leave. That seems like a tall order and if I use the other cough cough "diplomacy" on them I will most likely get the pudding pounded out of me. What am I doing wrong?

Hey same guy from pixiv,

Just remembered the widowmaker project, what good game that was dude. Will you ever try to continue it?

No there isnt, you could disable it by using a a plugin and then disactivating the variable for the messing.

I've had my eye on this for a while but was still on the fence about playing it. Does the game still work? I wanna try it out but don't really wanna deal with much computer hassle.

The game is a bit counterintuitive, the goal is more to get away and survive than win fights, and often even that is impossible. It's very trial and error which while frustrating serves the overall narrative of them game. Failing the tutorial is supposed to happen. You should just be sent back to the ship following your defeat
