About This File

Attention grabbing bold font: in order to turn on the ABDL content, you have to enter the password ABDLmode (case sensitive) at the start of the game. Otherwise, it'll play like a normal, non-fetish RPG. If you get prompted to enter another password, you got it right (by the way, the other passwords you can enter afterwards are: Power for higher stats, Riches for extra money, and Prosperity for extra items).

Saves from older versions are not compatible with version 1.2.2! You will have to start over! The beginning has been completely rewritten, so you won't have to sit through what you're used to anyway.

When you get stuck at the world map without being able to walk on the grass after the Don's estate, download the map file included on this download page to the www/data folder (Windows) or the game.app/contents/resources/app.nw/data folder (Mac). It'll ask you if you want to replace the existing file with the same name, hit yes. That should allow you to go through.

I made a thread about this before, but I forgot to maintain it. Oh well, the demo's out either way. Probably about two to three hours of playtime depending on quickness, efficiency and thoroughness, I'd guess. I haven't played through the demo as it is now in a not methodically slow way, so I don't have an exact time. Have fun!

Current version is 1.2.2. Saves from 1.1.x are NOT compatible, but since the beginning is totally different now, it shouldn't be a major issue.

New additions as of 1.2.x include:
-There is one more recruitable side character in the dance hall of the desert village. Unlike the last recruitable, this one is actually useful in combat, but she doesn't have any equipment you can take off and give to other characters. You recruit her by scoring a 12 or higher on the dancing mini game.
-The Southwestern Desert dungeon has been added. This dungeon is necessary to go through to advance the plot.
-The potty system has been switched to a plugin-based system which runs more seamlessly than the old version.
-The story advances to the end of the Southwestern Desert. If you get stuck before that point, contact me for assistance.

Known major bugs:
-If you enter the hospital map from the wrong tile (I think only the first time, and I know it's on the upper tile), the game will freeze for a reason I haven't been able to deduce.
-If you untie the man being held captive by the Dark Fire Mages from the tile diagonally across from him, it triggers a game breaking bug which makes it impossible to progress and renders your character permanently invisible.
-During events in which characters are moving, speeding through the text boxes too fast can result with them getting stuck moving against an impassable tile, which freezes the game. This can happen after you fight the Fentown clown, and while Amadea's nurse is getting new sheets for the bed in one of her pre party join cutscenes,
-On rare occasions, when you enter a new map, the events won't load and nothing in those events will happen (or on other occasions, the incorrect page will load and the wrong event will happen). However, this can usually be solved simply by exiting the map and entering it again. Good rule of thumb: if you know from the dialogue or design that a map has significance, yet when you enter it and walk around a bit, nothing triggers, go back out and enter the map again.
-Also on rare occasions, movement routes will be slightly off, usually by one tile and for only one of them if there are multiple. This typically happens if you used the above fix to get an event to load, and that event had a move route.
-If you enter the passcode for any of the four red chests in the Don's estate's seconds floor wrong, the game will freeze after the enemies appear. Make sure that you save before trying and make sure that you know the passcode (all four have the same passcode), and you can avoid this glitch having any real harm.

What's New in Version 1.2.2 Mac/Windows   See changelog

Released

Patch the Map001.json file included to the www/data folder (Windows) or the game.app/contents/resources/app.nw/data folder (Mac) in order to make the world map walkable.

Beta demo 1.2 is released. Saves from older versions are not compatible, but since the opening has been completely rewritten, you'll probably want to start over anyway just to experience it.

Combat has been balanced to not be too easy in this version, but it is still possible to go through the whole game including the DD without excessively grinding if you have the right gear and equip the right skills. However, grinding itself has been made far easier, both in level grinding and in grinding for rare drops. All you have to do is make sure you overkill all enemies (there will be a fiery animation which plays when you overkill an enemy by dealing more than 35% of their HP on the killing blow), and the EXP gain will increase significantly, and the drop rate for all the overkilled enemy's drops will double.

The UI has been changed, and the accident system is now plugin-based and running smoothly. Also, dual wielding now gives you one attack per weapon, with each attack being based on that specific weapon's stats.

Finally, the story now continues past the desert oasis by one town and one dungeon. Enjoy!

Try loading a save from right before you finished the DD and then play through the rest of it. If he's still there, then there may be an actual problem I need to work on.

I played the game from the very beginning.  The girls can cross the bridge directly after Kimiko has knocked out the guard, but if they then go and trash DDs house they find the unconscious guard blocking the bridge.  Sorry, there's still a problem here.

Lovely to see that Kimiko now wears silk panties under her rather masculine black pants.  Tough fighting girls need a hint of femininity - also vulnerability - to be likable.  I look forward to more of your excellent scripting.  I also look forward to meeting Lila and Radia when they appear but don't let waiting for their sprites delay your further releases.

I looked at the eventing involved, and I can say with certainty that it's a problem with either your copy of the game or some specific choice you made in your playthroughs. I've since optimized the events in what I hope will prevent this issue from reocurring somewhere else in the future, and I'll be releasing an update patch incorporating these optimizations shortly. If all went as I think it did, you should be able to use either save to get past that point. If not, then I'm going to assume that it's a problem with your copy of the game.

Wait... were you using an old save before starting a new game? Because the change that made Kimiko wear underwear by default happened well before update 1.1...

That said, Kimiko's character is... how should I put this... her primary vulnerability is Amadea. This will be shown in future releases time and time again.

As for Lila and Radia... the amount of time their sprites take depends entirely on how much work needs to be done to them. Radia's will probably take much more time, simply because she's wearing armor, but Lila's shouldn't be too hard. I'm more concerned with their bust shots than I am with their sprites, though...

That's why I went to the very start, so I wouldn't be using any previous saves.  Maybe Kimiko was wearing silk panties before and I didn't notice.  When you release a new update I'll play it through from the beginning again.

Kimiko seems very caring when it comes to Amadea.  This is a total contrast to her normal tough - no ruthless - attitude.  OK Amadea is a very useful fighter and healer but there's more there than that, more than a sexual love relationship too I think.  Kimiko seems to be setting herself up with a mothering relationship towards Amadea.  Also she seems to instinctively know how to handle diapers.  She's forgotten everything about her previous life but diapers were a part of it.  Bedwetting may not be in your current plans but I think it is an important part of Kimiko's past.  I really would urge you to reconsider whether these silk panties will stay permanently dry.

However that's entirely your decision.  I await your next update eagerly.

If you're willing to spoil yourself, a major clue to Kimiko's past can be found in Amadea's name... but be warned that once you actually figure it out it will probably just give you a cornucopia of questions that I won't answer until it actually comes up in the game, which will take a year IRL at least.

That said, just a heads up: while the mothering relationship idea makes sense based on what's currently in the game, this is still a yuri work... and the main pairing is still Kimiko and Amadea (that said, they're not only paired with each other, but the other characters who are paired with them all have one-sided love). So do keep that in mind when analyzing their interactions...

Thanks for the heads up.  I'll wait (eagerly) for the plot to unfold.  BTW I deleted everything, re-installed and played the game through from the start.  The unconscious guard is still blocking the bridge.

Now I'm positive that it's something you're doing in your playthroughs that's causing this, but I don't know what it is... because I've gotten past that part multiple times by this point, and so have most other players. This leaves the puzzling question of what you're doing differently that's causing him to stay there...

But I'm tired, and I'm about to go to bed, so I'll make the fix after I sleep and wake up. If this one doesn't work, then either you're making some weird choice that messes things up (which I'll definitely look into if this doesn't fix it) or you're not patching the game correctly.

Fix uploaded. If this doesn't get rid of the problem, I'm not sure if you'll be able to ever get past it. Either that or you're just patching it wrong, which I doubt.

Your saves should be compatible, so just try applying the patch and loading your most recent playthrough that got stuck there. This fix is twofold: I added an event that sets the location of the guard if you've beaten the DD and I also changed the unconscious event page to set his location to the proper spot if you talk to him.

That worked! Many, many thanks.

You probably don't want to know this right now but the game can crash in the cellar underneath DD's house.  If Kimiko picks up the gold coin first before confronting Alexjandro they move up to the statue and everything freezes.

Hope I'm not annoying you by finding bugs.  I'm really enjoying the game and trying every combination.  Looking forward to the next release.

You're not supposed to even be able to get to the gold coin until after you battle and beat Alejandro (the first step you take is supposed to start the event tat leads you to the battle), so that already tells you the maps didn't load properly when you entered it.

I'm not actually annoyed at the fact that you're finding bugs, that's a good thing. I am, however, a bit miffed that it took so many tries to actually identify and fix a single issue that only seemed to pop up for one player. But that's less a problem with you and more a problem with the fact that I thought I'd already done something that I apparently either hadn't or it pulled an MV BS on me and just disappeared at some point after I did it.

OK.  I'll delete everything, load it all again, start from the beginning and see if I come across the bug again.

OK, I couldn't replicate the crash so maybe it was just a computer glitch.  The girls can go past Alejandro to the right (their right, his left) and pick up the magic gold coin.  However if they go up to him or try to pass him on the other side they follow him to the Goddess statue and have to fight.  There's not a lot in the room otherwise and I can't see how to get through the locked door.  So it's over the bridge, set up camp, change Amadea (the one who knows) and the game ends.  Anything I've missed?

They should get locked into a side story event the first step they take into the room... as in, the map loads, they step forward once, and boom, event starts and takes away control from the player until after the battle.

As of right now there is nothing on the other side of the locked door. Eventually, it will serve as a shortcut to a different area of the game, but you won't be able to access it until you get to the other area normally, which will be at minimum demo 3.0.

I don't think you missed anything... you've gotten to the end of the demo, at least.

I vaguely remember what the opening in the currently released demo is like (it's been rewritten). I'm convinced that even for my writing skills when it was made, it was a halfassed job. Let's just say that the current version of the game that's being worked on's new opening arc is in an entirely separate league because it was written a year later with more effort put in.

General update: currently still waiting on my coder to finish the new accident system (I found out that the old one can break the game, so it needs to be replaced. Describing the replacement as new is kind of a false narrative, though... been waiting since December). Once that's done and fully tested/implemented, I'll need to do the mapping of a dungeon and then finish the eventing for over ten maps altogether, and then I'll be able to release update 1.3.0. Said update will, all changes included, likely more than double the potential amount of playtime.

the next version is coming soon,I guess.

It is indeed. Well, at least, the open beta will be released sometime in the next few days, ideally tonight or tomorrow. I'm waiting on the guy who made me my accident plugin (not the guy I'd been waiting on since December. He didn't follow through after five months of bipolar fetish binge/purge episodes keeping him from producing any results, the jackass) to fix a certain experience killing bug regarding bedwetting. But even when he releases a fix, I won't be posting it here - this page's download will be updated once the full 1.3 release is complete and debugged. The open beta as it is now is a town and a dungeon short of the full 1.3 release. I'll be working on getting 1.3 finished by the end of this month though, so this site's download update may come soon-ish after all.

That being said, for my players on this site who would like to play the open beta, I will link my FTT thread in this page's file description when it's released so you can get your download from there. But I ask that, if possible, you give feedback over there instead of on this page, because otherwise it'll just confuse people who read the comments but not the file description -- you know what, screw that argument. I'm just an OCD freak who likes for everything to be properly categorized, including comments on his work.

If you don't have an account on the site I link and would still like to comment, then don't worry about it, I'm not gonna be super pissed or anything if a few comments on the open beta show up over here. It'll bug me more than I'm comfortable admitting, but I can deal with that.

I don't really know what to tell you, because I've done playtests of the entire demo and gotten past the DD dozens of times. What choices did you make during the guard event? Have you completed the DD side story? All you've told me is that somewhere, something isn't working for you, but I have no means of pinning down what it is and where unless you be as specific and detailed as possible.

On another note, for the cut scene with Amadea after collecting the flower hitting enter too fast when Amadea grabs her dress causes the nurse to immediate walk into the display shelf and the scene freezes

The same pathing problem is what causes the clown bug to happen. Going through the dialogue too fast means the man manning the bar is at the wrong spot and gets stuck trying to walk through the bar.

Also, if you pay the toll you get to cross the bridge, but can't go back the other way because the man moves back to his original position. As for my original point, I used the following power words:

ABDLmode, Riches

I also use the following saves for debugging purposes:

File 1 - Current Save

File 2 - Outside the Inn after the dialogue with the innkeeper

File 3 - Outside the forest before entering for the first time

FIle 4 - Right before picking the flower

File 5 - Right before finding Amadea

File 6 - Right after entering Don Diego Estate

File 7 - Right after beating the clown (I went back and did that apparently)

File 8 - Right after Aria joins the party (...apparently this was a long side trip)

File 9 - Right before going to the Upper Lookout

File 10 - Right before the statue

File 11 - After leaving the room with the statue

-> As of File 11, the toll man is still in the position blocking the bridge.

I then went on to open all of the chests on floor 2. Afterwards, the man was still blocking the bridge.

I just reread my previous comment and realized I should amend it.

File 11 - Right after defeating the guy with the statue. Exiting his room prompts a "would you like to be placed outside" message.

If you answered yes to that prompt, it should turn a switch on which will set the guard event location aside so you can pass through. If you still can't get through, I'm not entirely sure what's causing it...

If you send me your save, I can see if I can get you past it using my debugging rights. Or better yet, if you don't mind waiting a little while, I'm about to release beta demo 1.2 on this page, so if you don't mind playing through up to that point again (the opening has been rewritten and there are new plugins implemented which render old saves incompatible), then you'll be able to experience more of the story than you would have been able to on the version you're currently using. I'm pretty sure that the bug you've encountered will not be present on 1.2, but even if it is, I'll be able to fix it if you send me your save.

I don't mind playing through from scratch seeing as it doesn't take long to get to that point if you already know what you're doing.

I'll just wait for 1.2, do a clean install and another play through, and see if its still happening.

... I just realized it's already been released. Time to try it again.

Read the bug list before playing. You rescued him from the wrong tile. I hope you didn't save after that, because that glitch makes it impossible to progress any further.
