Xeri The Crow 188 Posted March 20, 2016 Am I the only one who, knowing the appearance of the canon characters of SAO, feels weird about seeing the Silica copy have cat ears in what seems to be a parody of the VR game Sword Art Online, despite how her canon SAO avatar didn't have them? She got them in the next VRMMO, ALfheim Online. Noticing details of everything, it's both a blessing and a curse. Quote Link to comment

Xeri The Crow 188 Posted April 12, 2016 The guys looks a lot like elf form Kirito, but the girl looks like an original. When I said she was the Silica equivalent/copy, I meant that more in terms of her role in the story than I did in terms of appearance. She doesn't look even remotely like Silica, but she still basically has the same role that the canon character did in that part of episode four. Quote Link to comment

Bongo 0 Posted July 22, 2016 I supporse this is not a parody of SAO. Original title is "mahoutukai to kiiro no ame ”(a magician and yellow rain),It never said "SAO"word. Although the author may have been referring to the SAO for making work, he is not a Kirito, she is not a silica. Quote Link to comment
👑 Administrator Kyuu 6,092 Posted July 31, 2016 👑 Administrator I believe this was definitely inspired by the scene in SAO (which is why I used that as the title), but otherwise, I'm pretty sure you are correct. The characters are slightly similar in appearance, but they are clearly different overall. (I'm not sure why it's not just actually Kirito / Silicia here, but even if it's not strictly correct, SAO parody just seemed like the best way to describe the clip) Quote Link to comment
