About This File

Like so many, my quest is to experience and capture "genuine bed-wetting accidents", without becoming a real bed-wetter, or doing anything "unsafe". I've only had success on a few occasions where everything comes together and I'm able to "sleep through it all", as this video time-lapse shows.

I slept through the entire event as shown until the very end. (Or if I was awake at any point, I certainly don't remember it)

The setup: Several plastic garbage bags as a mattress protector (thank goodness!) underneath a white sheet. Me wearing a Walgreens brand adult pull-up. I'm a fan of the "wetness indicator"; or else there's typically not much to see (and I'm not willing to go naked).

The process: About 2 hours before bed, full 12oz glass of water. Put on thick adult diaper. Relaxed bladder muscles and let it out over time. Then, took 2 ZZZQuill tablets about 30 minutes before bed. About 15 minutes before bed, quickly drank 2 Diet coke cans (as a diuretic) with the equivalent of 4-5 shots of whiskey. Then right before bed another 12oz glass of water. Let everything go in full adult diaper. Then changed into the pull-up and went to sleep. Fell right asleep.

Another key element: I have constructed a mini-heating warmer element. It basically came from a back massage pad that had a small heating element.  I had no need for the massage parts, and there's a built in protection system for the warmer element (you have to hold the switch). The problem here is I wanted it to go on and off at a certain time automatically, as to A) not overheat and start a fire and B) not electrocute myself. The actual warming element "pad"  is about 12inches by 12inches. I had it placed under the sheet and within the garbage bags to keep it protected. (Basically in the area of the upper part of my chest)  It was modified to work with a timer. The timer was set to go on at 12:00am and off at 12:10am. On again at 1:30am and off at 1:40am. The idea was to simulate the "hand in water" prank.

I have tried just alcohol. I have tried just ZZQuill. I have tried both alcohol and ZZQuill together, with different combinations and quantities. I have tried just the heating element. These thing alone don't work for me. I always wake up. I am convinced the added warming effect like "the hand in warm water" trick and just enough alcohol and ZZQuill is the difference for me. Plus, I didn't wake up with a hangover. 🙂

Hope you enjoy the video and the accompany description.

Thank you! Glad it has been enjoyed. This is not something I plan on doing with any regular frequency. Interestingly, it sort of fits into the "been there, done that" category now.

Fantastic video.  Editing and quality are great, and the description on how you managed to prepare yourself to involuntarily bed wet is well thought and detailed.

Just as a nerd note, the "hand in water" trick has been debunked six ways to sunday. While submergence-induced urination does exist, it's not been observed unless at least an entire limb was submerged. Not knocking you, I just enjoy telling people things they might not know.

That aside, I love this video!
