Train

Edward and Mustang….

No matter how you put it, the situation never tended to turn out. Perhaps though with Hughes to keep them occupied with pictures of his daughter they would at least be distracted enough to be civil.

“Hey Edward look! I think I may have found someone shorter then you!” Mustang exclaimed happily while pointing at a picture of Elisa. He received a halfhearted glare from Hughes.

Then again maybe not… Riza sighed and glanced over at the state alchemist in question. She was fully prepared for him to start his little rant but then…. He didn’t respond. This worried Riza so she did the first thing he woman’s instincts told her to do.

“Hey Edward are you feeling ok?” Riza inquired. Ed seemed a little tense, scared even. That wasn’t an emotion you saw on Edward’s face period.

“Fine” Edward said shortly. He was staring out the train compartment window while the scenery passed in a colorful blur. Seemingly trying to get whatever was on his mind off his mind.

At this point Hughes and Riza were defiantly concerned. Mustang seemed nothing more than a little annoyed at his lack of response but stayed quiet sensing the tension in the room.

Edward was at a loss. He was unsure of what to do in his predicament. He desperately wanted Al to be here with him but Mustang insisted that it was better he go alone. Al would know what to do.

Ed was oblivious to the stares that were fixed on him as he continued to think up solutions to his ever more pressing issue. He was only twelve dammit but he refused to ask because if he did he would be acting like a child not a soldier. Soldiers didn’t have accidents. Soldiers held it until they were allowed to go.

Right at that moment Mustang stood and walked over to the door of the compartment. “I’m going to get some coffee.” Mustang announced “Does anybody else want some?”

The Cornel glanced around the compartment receiving nods from Riza, Hughes and a reluctant nod from the evermore desperate Fullmetal alchemist.

The door to the compartment slid shut with a click.

“Ok Ed, spill it. What’s the matter with you?” Hughes said. His arms were crossed and his voice demanding.

“Nothing I’m fine!” Edward’s tone was snappish as he talked with his superior. It was at that moment Riza decided to step in.

“Major Elric! There is no reason for that kind of attitude. We all know you have something on your mind why won’t you just tell us?” Riza asked.

“I already told you I’m…” The train suddenly hit a bump causing Edward to softly gasp and squeeze his crotch with his human hand. A blush crept onto his face because both Riza and Maes Hughes realized then what the matter was.

Hughes spoke first.

“Ed why didn’t you tell us you needed the bathroom before we left the station?”

Riza glared pointedly at Edward patiently waiting for his response. Edward’s face went slack and he paled. The compartment floor suddenly became very interesting.

Hughes crossed his arms and raised his eyebrows urging the young prodigy for his answer. Edward raised his eyes to look at the two adults across from him and began.

“I was too embarrassed… I was afraid it would make me seem childish. And if I seemed childish then the military would take back my certification and then I wouldn’t be able to get Al’s body back and and….” At this point Ed was beginning to panic and his breathing was becoming erratic which did little for his already overly full bladder.

“Edward! Eddy! Calm down its ok.” Riza immediately jumped into action to soothe the young boy.

The compartment door clicked marking the entrance of the highly confused Roy Mustang.

“Fullmetal are you ok?” Roy was now concerned. What the heck had happened while he was getting coffee?

Roy placed the four cups on the small table by the door and walked over to Edward who out of the blue regained all of his composure.

“You heard me the first time Mustang. I said I was fine.” Ed snarled at his superior officer. In a desperate attempt to try and regain any of the pride he had left.

“No you’re not and I know it. You should never lie to a superior officer Elric.” Mustang growled.

Edward shrunk under the scrutinizing gaze of Mustang. His cheeks flushed and he winced as he felt a strong twinge in his bladder.

“Tell me Edward, what could have possibly made you feel the need to lie to me.” Mustang crossed his arms and knitted his eyebrows at the young alchemist.

Edward gasped suddenly as his overextended bladder decided it would be a good idea to answer for him. The audible hiss of the young alchemists pee escaping its binds was shocking to everyone in the compartment even Edward.

“No….” Edward whined it protest trying to stop the flow of urine drenching his jeans. Mustang’s eyes were glued to the darkening jeans of the protégée. Two minutes later the Fullmetal alchemist finished his wet much to the shock of his older colleges. His boots were full of piss and the red carpet was drenched from the seat to the floor of the compartment. Edward shivered at the overwhelming relief.

“Never hold it that long again Edward.” Mustang said wide eyed and slightly disturbed at the small boy’s capacity.

Riza and Hughes were dumbstruck. They had never seen a soldier wet themselves before least of all Edward.

The train pulled to a stop and Edward groaned. He pulled off his boots to empty them of his piss and dumped them out onto the compartment floor all the while saying. “We are to never speak of this again”

Together Edward, Riza, Roy and Hughes made the walk of shame through the terminal while everyone gazed at the little alchemist’s accident.

From that day forward Edward always wore leather pants because he knew if he ever had an accident again at least it wouldn’t show too bad.

Unrealistic. These two boys put their all into becoming like little adults in as little time as possible, so wetting with everyone watching is out of the question. Neither of them are childish enough to wet themselves from not using the loo on time. If anything, these two are better candidates for desperation and unconventional peeing. In a dark corridor, whipping it out and peeing for all they are worth, as children, running around their home and peeing behind a tree when the need struck.

Yeah, I agree it is out of character for them.
