Introduction to Rita's Training Blog - Bladder Capacity and Standing Up + Flexibility

I’m Rita, and I’m blogging on my two urinary endeavors.

1) Increasing my bladder capacity (within healthy reason of course). I want to be less of a urinary wuss, not just going anytime I have the slightest urge.

2) Improving my ability to pee standing up, and just generally in unusual situations. The ultimate achievement would be performing comparably to a man when faced with a wall urinal or soda bottle, and to be able to discreetly relieve myself standing in the woods or pretty much anywhere else.

My boyfriend and I have started on the first endeavor, systematically collecting some real data. This means measuring our output, alongside a 1-to-10 rating of how badly we had to go. I know there are other scales out there, but I think this one works best for my purposes.

We started using a makeshift container with 100mL markings, but we recently got a 1L graduated cylinder. It’s not unheard of to be able to urinate more than a liter, so maybe someday I could get an upgrade.

We’re now in sort of a friendly competition on this, but you could say he’s also coaching me. I don’t think you can get MTV “Made” coaches for this.

My boyfriend has been way better at peeing things than me, aside from the obvious male things. I think he’s had better capacity than me. Sometimes I’m like “I have to pee!” ::drip, drip, drip::, then my boyfriend’s like “Meh, I could pee” ::lots of pee::. I’ve always considered myself as having a small bladder, despite an ultrasound technician disagreeing. And that aside, my boyfriend seems much less prone to disruptive frequent urination, which is something I’ve had to deal with, especially when drinking too much, not eating enough, or having caffeine or alcohol. It’s disruptive when trying to fall asleep, literally having to get up every 10-15 minutes. It would be more efficient if I could hold more. I guess I could say I want to be more like a camel.

And more obviously, as a woman, I’m not as used to peeing from much of anywhere other than a toilet seat. Let’s change that. More on this later.

Liking this? If so I’ll keep the entries coming. Let me know what you think in the comments.
