Chapter 3.

Yuna and I sat down at the kitchen table, directly across from each other. She sat still, looking peacefully out the window at the darkening sky.
"How much longer until I meet this 'Jay' fellow?" I asked.
"Not too much longer. Recon doesn't take too long."
I nodded in acknowledgement, allowing myself to relax into the cushioned padding of the diaper I was stuck in. I chuckled a bit at the thought of someone like me, a soldier of war, being stuck in such an infantile garment.

"So... you're some sort of leader for the Freedom Army?" asked Yuna.
"I'm the head of the army council, so I suppose you could say that."
She raised an eyebrow.
"Really? So that's really the reason your convoy was so heavily guarded?:
"I wouldn't say it was heavy based on how quick you and your friends took it down."
Yuna shrugged. "It's something we've been doing for a while now. You know all those supply caravans that show up at your camp? Those are the caravans we attack."
I was at a loss of words. From the day our growing army has fought the imperial army, random supply convoys would show up at our doorstep. Some contained food, some contained weapons.

The creaking of a door opening jarred me from my thought.
"Jay! The girls awake. Get in here," shouted Yuna.

A man, dressed in a long knee length coat came from around the corner. He was wearing black leather boots with steel clasps along the sides. A leather belt on his waist contained a small cloth pouch, a small dagger, and what appeared to be small throwing knives.
The man spoke, his voice deep yet comforting.
"How is she coming along?"

Yuna chuckled. "Funny you should ask. I found her on the floor in here, trying to find the way out.""
"But how? Those muscle reactants should have made it near impossible for her to make it that far from her bed."
"She was extremely weak. She still hasn't regained bladder or bowel control."

I felt my face grow a deep shade of red.
The man looked at me, sliding his hood away from his head. He had a light tan skin tone, with short and shaggy pitch black hair. He had a well angled jawline and wrinkles at the edges of his deep purple eyes. I immediately felt an attraction to the man.

He smiled, taking a few steps towards me.
"You seem like you're doing better. Tell me, how are you feeling?" He inquired.
"I-I-I'm doing alright... still a bit weak, but fine."
"Good to hear."

He took a seat beside me, studying my features.
"Jay? It is Jay, right?" I asked.
He nodded.
"Why did you bring me here? Instead of letting me go back to my men?"

He sighed, closing his eyes for a brief moment.
"Because, I've made more than a few mistakes. And you're my chance to fix them."
I was taken aback. What was he talking about?
"What mistakes have you made?"
"I'm the reason this wonderful land is under imperial control."

"Back during the first great war, I had a chance to end 'Emperor Valentine's' Life. I had him on his knees, but I decided to let him live and merely make him vow to never return. I took his hand to teach him a real lesson."

I saw a tear roll down his cheek.

"My cowardice. My lack of conviction to do what must have been done is responsible for the deaths and enslavement of many of this lands people. If I had taken my chance and ended his life, none of this would be happening."

He looked at me, his purple eyes gazing deep into my mind.

"You're the leader of the Freedom Army. I can right my wrongs by helping you and your people end this. You're my chance at redeeming myself and killing Valentine."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was utterly astonished. I was speaking to a legend. This man and his siblings single-handedly changed the course of the first great war and bough us out freedom. He beat Valentine in a fight and took his hand, banishing him from this once beautiful place.

"Y-you're the Black Ghost... You're the one who stood against the entire imperial army all those years ago!"
He nodded, yet another tear gliding down his cheek.

I understood now. He held on to me because I was his way out.
The guilt on his face was obvious, and it was apparent he regretted what he did. I had the power to help a legend right his wrongs.

"I'll help you. If you and your family come with me to our camp, I can help you get to the imperial city. But you need to promise me you'll fight as hard as you can to help us get there."
"I swear on my father's grave, I will do anything it takes." He grabbed my hand, shaking it firmly.

Yuna stood up from the table. "Jay, it's too late to head out now. Go ahead and get Jack, and I'll change Lyra here."
"Yuna! Does it kill to be a little more discreet then that?"
She smiled, sliding her pant's down slightly. She was wearing a diaper too!

"Those diapers you're wearing are mine. And I wear them for the comfort, so I think you'll be fine. Especially considering you actually need them."
